Liverpool FC - Ray of Hope Appeal
Fellow Liverpool Supporters,
I'm not sure if you've heard about the Ray of Hope Appeal - some have some havn't - we're trying to raise funds for ex Liverpool legend Ray Kennedy who's suffering with Parkinson's Disease.
Ray was a legend at Anfield and indeed at Arsenal where he scored the goal that clinched the double for them at bitter rivals Spurs... (see below for his Liverpool honours)
We've launched the appeal to help Ray along with his day to day life.. he's virtually house bound and having spoken to his family he's in need of an Orthapedic Bed and his Bathroom needs changing around to allow easy access for Ray.
Ray had a testimonial in 91 but that money went to buy the Bungalow he now lives in - in the North East - unfortunatly Ray had to sell his Medals and England Caps to pay for medical treatment and is now struggling to pay the bills.
All supporters clubs are being asked to donate a small amount to this worthy cause - if you're on the way to Anfield - just have a whip round on the coach etc..
Or you can donate at the following:
HSBC Bank - sort code 40-03-27 Account No 21817299
With paypal to the rayofhopeappeal@hotmail.co.uk
or with a cheque made payable to "The Ray of Hope Appeal" and send to the following address:
